Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science along with 5 to 8 years of related experience in the rubber or plastics industries, with an emphasis on tooling, equipment and process, and lean manufacturing equipment and techniques.
  • Experience in processing liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and silicone high-consistency rubber (HCR) is required.
  • Good technical problem solving/analytical skills and mechanical aptitude are required. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
  • Lean Systems Green Belt certification is a plus.
  • Effective, demonstrated oral and written communications skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization, including presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task/manage many projects in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Must be highly self-directed and work with a minimal amount of supervision.
  • Personal Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Function
Your Engineering degree and HANDS ON EXPERIENCE (A MUST) WORKING WITH BOTH TOOLING AND EQUIPMENT/MACHINES involved in "LSR" Liquid silicone molding may qualify you to join this international company. You should also have experience processing high-consistency rubber and be open to travel including some international. You will interface and support various mfg. plants and be a technical resource for silicone molding.
